Question: What documents are necessary in order to get solicitation in court with regard to intellectual property rights?
Answer:
In order to represent Client's interests in Ukraine the firm lawyers need from legal entities:
- a power of attorney (with apostil and notarization in case if Client’s legal entity is not Ukrainian resident);
- a certificate of statistical authorities of State Registry (an extract of the trade register with apostil and notarization if Client’s legal entity is not Ukrainian resident);
- Bank certificate of account availability;
- a signed agreement on providing legal services (a written mandate is sufficient for non-residents)
In order to represent Client's interests in Ukraine the firm lawyers need from physical persons:
- a notarized power of attorney (with apostil if Client is a non-resident physical person);
- a copy of passport (a document of identity);
- a signed agreement on providing legal services (a written mandate is sufficient for non-residents).

- Consulting on the matters of legislation of Ukraine, international law, the laws of other countries (the Russian Federation, EU-countries, USA, Canada, China, Japan etc.);
- Preparing agreements;
- Pre-trial settlement of issues related to protection and implementation of intellectual property rights;
- Legal audit of an enterprise (due diligence), specifically, the rights to intellectual property objects;
- Administrative means of protecting the rights to intellectual property objects;
- Representing Client’s interests in the courts of Ukraine, arbitration courts, ad hoc courts, mediation centers, commercial arbitration courts;
- Representing Client’s interests in Ukrainian executive bodies.
